    1. o President’s Report

        • School Leadership Team-Nominations for one (1) parent members. School leadership teams are teams of parents, teachers, administrators, and others who are responsible for setting the educational direction of a school. Leadership teams have two main tasks: the development of a Comprehensive Educational Plan (CEP) and the alignment of a school-based budget with the CEP.

          1. o Nominations for one (1) parent members. Nominations will be taken between 7:20 pm and 7:30 pm

          2. o Elections if needed shall be held from 7:30-7:40 pm, you must have identification to vote.

      • Formation of Nominating Committee -The nominating committee is responsible for conducting the election process, canvassing the membership for all eligible candidates, determining candidate eligibility, sending notices, running nominating meetings, and the election. The nominating committee shall solicit recommendations for candidates for consideration.

      • Formation of Budget and Audit committee-The Parent Teacher Association of John Dewey High School needs at least 3 parents to assist us in preparing a proposed budget for the upcoming school year. We also need 3 parents to assist us in reviewing (auditing) our PA financial records for compliance with association’s bylaws and Chancellors Regulations A-660. If you are interested in helping us please join attend this meeting, or you may contact our Parent Coordinator Kristine Gattuso.

      • School Safety Committee update

      • Review of proposed changes to the association bylaws (distributed March 18,2010). Vote to adopt changes to association bylaws
