J.D.H.S. 2nd Annual Spirit Day

Spirit day a day when all our students, faculty and parents come out to play! Beautiful weather, food, games and great music. What better way to celebrate our student’s accomplishments and the end of the school year then this community event. We reflected   we ate we danced we played games and went on rides. One of the perks of our school is a 16 acre campus and a full field with picnic tables for our Dewey community to enjoy. Here are some pictures from the day’s events.

Picnic Lunch and Learn

What do you do when you have a 16 acre campus at your school? You bring your classes outside and have a picnic. Mr. Artz and Mr. Torres took all their classes out for a little fun and fresh air.  Students in each of their classes had a picnic lunch and still managed to do their classwork! At Dewey we try to think out of the box. Please click here to view the photo gallery.

Spelling Bee

Pajama Day at J.D.H.S.

What better way to say good night to 2018 and good morning to 2019 then a pajama party!

Students and staff put on their pajamas had milk and cookies and even visited with Santa.

Our cafeteria was turned into a winter wonderland for all to enjoy. Here are some pictures of the event.

John Dewey High Schools First Annual Spirit Day

Our first spirit day was a success! A full day of fun, food, music and a little learning. Our students and staff enjoyed games, bouncy houses, a dunk tank, sip and paint, a life size operation game and so much more. Students and staff were out in full force displaying their academy colors for all to see. You could dunk your teacher or maybe throw a pie in their face. Today was about community and family our John Dewey High School family! Here are some pictures from today’s Spirit Day.
