John Dewey High School ’s mission
is to offer an innovative form of education by empowering students
to make decisions regarding their educational experience, by
enabling them to grow at their own rate in an atmosphere of
dynamic interchange, and by providing an extended day for their
academic, cultural and social enrichment. |

VISION STATEMENT
Our vision is to provide the opportunities
and the tools that enable students to be successful in the
workplace of the 21st century. We believe we can accomplish
this by training them in the use of the latest technology and
engaging them in classroom projects based on real-world problem
solving strategies. In the process, we provide our students
with the instructional resources that prepare them to meet
rigorous academic standards as well as become life-long learners. |
