Water Safety

Recent events nationally and regionally have raised awareness, concern and questions about lead levels in drinking water. We want to assure you that New York City’s water is extraordinarily safe. This includes water in the NYC schools.

There are a number of proactive, ongoing measures the New York City Department of Education (DOE) takes to ensure that the water in New York City schools is safe for students and staff.

Robotics News!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR JOHN DEWEY ROBOTICS TEAM, MR. FILIPPO DISPENZA, AND SARINA LIM WHO WON 6 MATCHES AT THE BIG ROBOTICS DAY AT THE JAVITS CENTER.

OUR ROBOTICS TEAM CAME IN AS ONE OF THE TOP 24 SCHOOLS OUT OF 66 AND CONTINUED INTO THE QUARTER FINALS. THEY TOOK HOME THE EXCELLENCE IN ENGINEERING AWARD. THIS IS A HUGE WIN FOR THE DEWEY ROBOTICS TEAM. GOOD LUCK IN TROY, N.Y.
