Congratulations to our Double Dutch Team

We are officially the #1 Double Dutch team in the City!! Congratulations to our jumpers: Diamond Edwards, Kayla McDonald, Britney Spear, Tajahnae Williams and Ms. Green! Go Dewey!!!!



We are so proud of our school community for their production of Hairspray! The ensemble directed by our own Maria Taylor was amazing. For three performances they rocked the house! Students, staff and parents worked together for a production that was Broadway worthy.

1) Entrants must be enrolled as a 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade student
2) Entrants must be a resident of New York City (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, Staten Island, and Queens) or Long Island (Nassau & Suffolk counties)
3) This contest is only open to entrants that have not placed in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in this contest in the past

Water Safety

Dear Families and Staff,

Recent events nationally and regionally have raised awareness, concern and questions about lead levels in drinking water. We want to assure you that New York City’s water is extraordinarily safe. This includes water in the NYC schools.

There are a number of proactive, ongoing measures the New York City Department of Education (DOE) takes to ensure that the water in New York City schools is safe for students and staff.
