English as a New Language and World Language Department

Welcome to the English as a New Language and World Language Departments. We are here to support your student’s language growth and development. We offer Spanish as a World Language and Mandarin as part of our Transitional Bilingual Program. We also support our English Language Learners thrive through English as a New Language classes and support in their content classes. We offer a robust Title III International Saturday Academy for extra academic support. We host a number of clubs, after school activities and cultural events as a way to support the whole student and celebrate the home cultures of our diverse student population.

Our teachers are here to support our students and their families through our advisory program. If your family has questions or concerns, please reach out via the Talking Points Messaging system which allows you to text us in your preferred language. We are here to empower our multilingual students to take pride in their language developments through attainment of the Seal of Biliteracy.
