Moral Compass of Kindness in Google Classroom

Moral Compass of Kindness

Moral Compass of Kindness
At the heart of our mission is  and with it the components that make up the

– Integrity involves aligning our actions with timeless human values, making choices in accordance with our ethical standards and convictions, and doing what we believe to be morally correct.
– Only individuals who are ready to assume responsibility for their conduct and the outcomes it produces can guarantee that they adhere to universal human principles. Even if it means taking responsibility for a mistake.
 – Compassion is crucially essential because demonstrating concern for others not only conveys our regard for them but also fosters an environment where others are likely to reciprocate with compassion when we require it the most.
 – This principle is of paramount importance, as lacking the capacity to accept errors and recognize our own imperfections may lead to inflexibility, rigidity, and an inability to interact with others in a manner that fosters our collective well-being.
In a well written response explain the benefits of the Moral Compass of Kindness.  How can you implement its ideas into your life?  Do you feel that one component is more important than the others?  How can following the principles of the MCOK improve your life and wellness?  What happens around us that makes us less likely to follow the components of Integrity, Responsibility, Compassion and Forgiveness?

Castaway in Google Classroom

Castaway

In " Castaway", Chuck holds onto the package with the angel wings as a source of purpose to ensure he must return it to sender; thus, securing his destiny to survive. The " whale" appears in his time of need as he is nearing the thoughts of giving up and " wakes" him up in an effort to keep him going.

Please reflect on a time in your life that you felt like quitting or giving up on something or someone. What was your " angel wing" that provided purpose to keep moving forward and who was your whale that kept you awake and aware during your time of hardship.

Search deep and be as honest as you comfortably can.  Please realize that when we feel like giving up; it allows us to see how delicate we really are and that these feelings can be normal, humanizing and if approached properly, we can grow from these feelings.
