The Historic 2022 Lacrosse Championship
Our Boys Varsity Lacrosse team etched their names into NYC sports history during an unforgettable 2022 PSAL Championship Season, with an astonishing 14-1-0 overall record.

Dominant Play: The Dragons outscored their opponents by a staggering margin of 147 goals to just 41 goals allowed, earning an Honorable Mention in the highly competitive New York State Sportswriters Association (NYSSWA) rankings.

The Next Level: This championship blueprint paved the way for star defender Darien Murray, a 2x PSAL Defensive Player of the Year who went on to advance his athletic career at the collegiate level playing for Nassau Community College.

Mayor’s Cup e-Sports City Champions
Proving that Dewey dominance extends to the modern digital frontier, our e-Sports team ("Block-Hampton") brought home the City Championship Title as the Senior Champions at the prestigious Mayor's Cup e-Sports Finals, hosted at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum.

Yokub Mamatkulov PSAL City Champion Wrestling (2026)

Captured the 165 lb individual weight class city title in an 11-5 decision over Thomas Edison.

Aldar Tugulchiev PSAL City Finalist Wrestling (2026)

Battled all the way to the City Championship final match, finishing as the 144 lb city runner-up.
