Mr. Pusz

A life long resident of Brooklyn, in his 12th year in the field of education, Mr. Pusz has served as a teacher in the JDHS Social Studies Dept for the last 9 years.
This year 2025-2026 Mr. Pusz is teaching sections of Advanced Placement World History and General Education United States History.
He loves what he does and is thankful everyday he didn't follow his aunt's advice to "just join the post office" when he was 17.
Parents and students can access course materials as well as find links to our Google Classrooms on this page.
When not teaching you can usually find Mr. Pusz in his basement watching the Yankees, Ranger, Knicks and Giants lose as he ponders the vagaries of life and attempts to finally get over the heartbreak Games 4,5,6 and 7 of the 2004 American League Championship Series caused him.
You might also find him reading Hemingway on the F train or crossing the street to avoid any and all dogs, cats, squirrels, pigeon or lammas.
