Scholarship - Jack & Jill $8,000
The Brooklyn Chapter of Jack and Jill of America, Inc. is excited to announce that they have opened the 2026 scholarship application for graduating seniors. The scholarship awards a total of $8000 over 4 years to students attending 4-year colleges.

Skechers will be awarding $300,000 in scholarships
The Skechers Foundation provides $300,000 in scholarships to support 60 high-achieving high school seniors. This scholarship program comprises four individual scholarship programs:
- SKECHERS Financial Hardship Scholarship
- SKECHERS Academic Excellence Scholarship
- SKECHERS Promising Leaders Scholarship
- SKECHERS Athletic Performance Scholarship
Who is eligible to apply for the Skechers Scholarships?
To be eligible for the Skechers Scholarships, students must be high school seniors who have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Students also must be planning on attending a two- or four-year accredited college/university, technical, or vocational education program. Additionally, three of the scholarships have additional eligibility requirements:
- The SKECHERS Athletic Performance Scholarship is only open to students who are playing a sport at the collegiate level.
- The SKECHERS Financial Hardship Scholarship requires students to have demonstrated financial need.
- The SKECHERS Promising Leaders Scholarship is open to students who have a track record of leadership in their school or community.

Yankees-Stonewall Scholarship
This one-time scholarship of $10,000 will be awarded to one stand-out student from each borough (5 student winners total).
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria: • All graduating seniors in a NYC DOE school, intending to attend a 2-year or 4-year college, are eligible to apply online at this link, which is also accessible at
schools.nyc.gov/lgbtq.
• Intending to attend a two-year or four-year college in Fall 2026.
• A member of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, Queer or Questioning (LGBTQ+) community or someone who has contributed significantly to the LGBTQ+ community.
• At least a 2.5 GPA
***United States citizenship status will not affect a student's ability to receive the scholarship.

ABENY Scholarship
ABENY SCHOLARSHIPS: (OPEN TO GRADUATING SENIORS IN THE PUBLIC SCHOOLS OF THE FIVE BOROUGHS
ABENY is offering both scholarships and service awards in 2026! Please find below the guidelines regarding how students may apply:
Important updates and reminders:
- In 2026, ABENY will offer at least eight (8) $1,000 one-year scholarships and two (2) $4,000 four-year scholarships.
- Students are required to submit one community service reference and two references from school staff.
- Students are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores.
- All supporting documents must be emailed with the applications. As the applications are read on-line, Guidance Counselors may have to assist students with emailing their references. The scoring committee cannot organize students' applications and cannot receive references separately.
- Only pdf or Microsoft Word documents should be emailed. Google documents should not be emailed, as the scoring committee may have difficulty accessing them.

The scholarship recipients will be honored at the Annual Scholarship and Awards Luncheon at Antun's in Queens Village on Saturday, June 20, 12 Noon - 5 pm.
Fong & Lee Foundation Scholarship
The Chinese-American Planning Council (CPC) are delighted to introduce an exciting scholarship opportunity for your students who have just graduated and are going to college in the Fall.
CPC is the nation’s largest Asian American social services organization, dedicated to empowering Asian-American, immigrant, and low-income communities in New York and helping 80,000 individuals and families in their goals for education, family, community, and careers.

The Eileen Geduld Zaglin Scholarship Fund - Did you graduate from District 21 elementary and/or middle school
The Eileen Geduld Zaglin Scholarship Fund
provides scholarship assistance to graduating high school seniors who have shown exceptional promise in the arts, including literature, fine arts, music, and the performance, or in a specific academic field. Candidates must demonstrate good character, an interest in serving the community, and a strong academic record.
Applicants MUST have graduated from a District 21 elementary and/or middle school. Preference will be given to applicants who have graduated from PS 225, the Eileen E. Zaglin School where Ms. Zaglin was a teacher. Scholarships, based on a combination of merit and need, are awarded once a year and average $2500. The scholarships supplement post-secondary education to further the development of the recipient's talent.
The application period is February 1, 2025, through May 1, 2025

The Ivy Rose Foundation Scholarship
The Ivy Rose Foundation Scholarship is a four-year scholarship being offered to three young women graduating from high school in June 2026 who will attend a four-year college.
Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. was established at Howard University in 1908, the first sorority established by African American college women, and continues to serve the community through programs supportive of women and girls. Delta Rho Omega Chapter has served communities in Brooklyn since 1947.
The minimum amount of the Ivy Rose Foundation Scholarship offered to each awardee will be $1,500 per semester during the four-year cycle.
Award criteria are the following:
• A young woman who will graduate high school in June 2026
• A resident of Brooklyn
• Current good academic standing with a minimum cumulative high school average of 85
• Will attend an accredited four-year college following high school graduation (not later than September 2026) as a full-time matriculated student.

Pasta Rose Scholarship
This scholarship is only for students who have lost a parent to cancer.
- One winner will receive a $15,000 award to use toward the cost of college.
- Second-place winner will receive approx. $5,000 to use toward the cost of college.
- Winner must allow Pasta Louise to use their photo/name in connection to the scholarship.
- Students must live in Brooklyn and must be registered at a public or private High School in any of the five boroughs in NYC. You can also apply if you live in the five boroughs and attend a high school in Brooklyn.
- Student must be attending college in the 2026-27 school year.
