Connect with Your School Counselor
Students should schedule a one-on-one meeting with their school counselor or someone they trust at their school to discuss their plan for after high school.
Meetings with school counselors should include the following topics:
- Discuss pathways to future careers,
- Get help with financial aid and financial resources,
- Discuss next steps, and
- Reach out to borough Transition and College Access Centers (TCACs)(Open external link) for support with IEPs.
Apply to CUNY
High school seniors at NYC Public Schools can now apply to CUNY more easily using the new CUNY Fast App(Open external link).
