Dear JDHS Seniors and Families:
Senior year will be arriving in the fall! We look forward to having an exciting and fun-filled school year as we anticipate the arrival of your graduation day on June 26, 2024. To provide you with a wonderful senior year and a memorable graduation ceremony, certain expenses must be covered. Below is the breakdown of the costs for the senior year. Fundraising opportunities will be available beginning in September.
Senior Prom
Tuesday, June 18th, 2024 at 6PM
Price: $200 per person. Payment due Friday, June 7, 2024.
Russo’s on the Bay
Prom payments will not be accepted until Senior Dues are paid in full
Graduation
Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at 9 am Graduates must report at 8 AM.
Coney Island Amphitheater, 3052 W 21st Street, Brooklyn, NY 11224
This is a ticketed event. Each graduate will be allowed 4 guests, no exceptions.
Payments can be made online, by cash or money orders only. Online payments have an additional service fee of 4% + $0.35. A receipt is always given. Please make money orders payable to: John Dewey High School. Make sure the student’s name is on the money order.
THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS!
There will be no refunds given due to the reason for not fulfilling the New York State graduation requirements.
Cap and gown will be released to each student after they have been certified a graduate.
*Hoodie is not included in Senior Dues. If purchased online there will be an additional transaction fee of $1.75 *- 5/15: College Decision Day
- 5/24 - 5/26: Senior Trip (Trip is FULL)
- 6/5: Senior Awards Night
- 6/11: Senior Breakfast
- 6/18: Senior Prom, 6pm @ Russo's
- 6/24: Senior BBQ
- 6/26: Graduation, 9am Coney Island Amphitheater
